Vintage piece ! Second hand haori, jackets for Japanese kimono.
 
This haori is a fabulous example of the wondrous world of the Komon 小紋 fabrics universe, brought to life by the repetition of one and the same pattern throughout the fabric. On a black background, circles follow one another to infinity, those of small red flowers whose white heart is dotted with green pistils. The color combination is both elegant and casual, the whole thing is chic without being too dressy.  Everything you need in style to tastefully enhance a very simple classic little black dress with a right  on point egy finishing touch without overdoing it. The haura, the inner lining, is as playful as the right side of the jacket. It gives us to see a set of Ougi 扇子 fans, completely closed, half open or fully extended, a classic pattern.  Symbols of prosperity and good fortune, in the purest tradition  from the world of Japanese textiles, their sheets of paper are a canvas for the artist-craftsman  to have even more fun in his creative process and introduce us to a whole variety of additional patterns  : seasonal flowers, geometric patterns, patterns from the world of water or patterns from the animal world.  This jacket is in excellent condition and you can wear it without any problem!
 
The haori, a jacket worn over a Japanese kimono, is perhaps THE Japanese garment that TABITABIYA fell in love with the most!
