Vintage piece ! Second-hand haori, jackets for Japanese kimono.

Though It is hard to give an exact number, this incredible haori is quite old. You can feel it under your fingers. It is, for me, the perfect example of the incredible ability that traditional Japanese patterns have to remain timeless and defeat all fashion trends that pass as quick as they appeared in magazines. What a bold and lively color palette! We love it! We also love the hyper design interpretation of the Karakusa pattern, the arabesques of a growing plant . It is one of the oldest patterns in the world of wagara, and the craftsman here has given it such a modern, contemporary figure. So eye-catching! The haura, the inner lining, betrays the age of this haori because it is very marked by time. The jacket is stained in a few places because it has lived a full life. But, if you accept the traces that it has left on its silk, you can still wear this fabulous haori without problem. You don't find a haori like this every day!
