Vintage! Second-hand haori, jackets for Japanese kimono.
 
What did I like about this haori? Well, that's the romantic feel about it! I loved the color, this intense blue, going almost to gray, and which nevertheless remains very soft with an old-fashioned overall impression, very close to the traditional color Usu-Hana-Iro, the pale color of the flower.  And the way it is enhanced by bands of gold or brown colors, like friezes on a 19th century wallpaper is most charming and delicate. This haori is above all a discreet tribute to Kiku 菊, the chrysanthemum , the Japanese autumn flower! The haura, too, is adorned with this beautiful, highly symbolic flower, in a very traditional but just as fine, discreet and seductive way. Throughout the waves of mist rising above the water , chrysanthemum flowers all pink and green.  Tatewaku 立涌, those undulating vertical lines  is a very old motif formerly reserved for the nobility and highly symbolic signifying us the possibility of elevating ourselves. This jacket  is in excellent condition and you can wear it with no problem!

The haori, a jacket worn over a Japanese kimono, is perhaps THE Japanese garment that TABITABIYA fell in love with the most! In Tabitabiya's flea market, I only feature second-hand Japanese haori that melt my heart. They are not perfect but in good, or even very good condition. The photos will show you the small defects that some may have.
